Eleanor Pollock
Vice-chair
Savannah/Townsville Marine
District 3
I have been a Veterinary Nurse and caring for Wildlife for the last 40 years and have earned every grey hair that I have.
I was a founding member of North Qld Wildlife Care in 1989. I am presently Vice-President and heavily involved in training. I am also the group possum/marsupial coordinator.
I am an active carer and look after a large variety of our wildlife but my favourite is the Echidna. I still work part-time in the veterinary field as a nurse and am fortunate enough to be semi-retired.
I commenced with QWRC from its early inception on the Steering Committee and realise that we still have a long way to go.
